There is a wise knowing restorative force that lives within each and every cell of our bodies. How can we access that innate intelligence to better support our health and allow more ease in our movements?
In this workshop, you will experience the connection of mind and body in a revitalized way. You will take the time to fine tune your attention to what your sensations are telling you as you explore awareness in movement.
Join me as I guide you in a somatic process of sensory-motor exploration that will help you experience better functional movements, renewed ease in your body and rediscover an energized feeling of well-being.

COMING BACK HOME
The body always leads us home...
However, very often, our body may feel different levels of discomfort and pain and that is when we want to get away from it! The irony is that, living away from the body contributed to creating the pain and discomfort in the first place.... and the disconnect between the mind and the body makes us at war within ourselves. What could help feeling more comfortable in the body and truly feeling at home?
In my upcoming somatic workshop, you can learn and welcome new possibilities of being more at ease in your body, becoming more aware of how you use yourself in your body and your movements.
Invite a deeper sense of authenticity and belonging.

ENLIVEN YOUR POSTURE WITH A HEALTHY SPINE
JANUARY 2019
Neck and shoulder tensions in one extremity of the spine, along with extra muscular effort in the lower back, contribute to a lot of discomfort, often escalating to pain and leading to poor posture.
Explore a movement process that will bring a new awareness of your spine and will invite a better distribution of effort throughout your skeletal structure.
MARCH 2018
OPEN YOUR CHEST AND FREE YOUR RIBS
As your chest and ribs learn to soften, you will sense your breathing in a new and expanded way, supporting an improved posture and an overall sense of well-being.
APRIL 2018
HEAD AND SHOULDER EASE
Invite more ease in your life. Bring relief to the tensions in your neck and shoulders through connecting their movements more clearly with the movements of your chest, and the movements of your ribs and spine.
"Isel, It is very exciting for me to find movement in my shoulder that had been frozen but was never quite right in that there we're spots that I wasn't able to extend to. Thank you so much!" Patty H, Sacramento
Finding your Ground, Sensing your Support workshop: "I have been familiar with"leaning into support" when lying still (yoga) but to move with support - lightly, gently - to be light while supported in movement... that was one big experience today! I felt a great sense of length and my breath moving more easily. Thank you!" Sharon C, Sacramento
Low back, Spine and Pelvis Care workshop: "The workshop exceeded my expectations. I really got a lot out of what we did and plan to incorporate the movements in my daily life. Many thanks! Mary S. Auburn

Our bones are alive. We forget that our skeletal structure is designed to keep us upright with ease. But that simple ease in standing and feeling upright is often elusive for many adults. Balance and ease of motion is compromised. What has happened?
Just as we learned how to relate to gravity as toddlers and eventually stood upright with ease and comfort, we still have access to this innate ability to learn. join me and rediscover how to experience your core structure in better alignment, how to create a better relationship between your pelvis and your head, through the line of your spine, so that standing erect becomes more available, with less and less effort. In the process, your posture improves and your movements become more fluid.
Come rediscover a better integrated sense of yourself and a renewed sense of balance and ease.
